Celler Jordi Lluch is situated in Sant Quintí de Mediona, in the heart of the Penedès region, near Torrelavit and Font-rubí. This region is already well known for its traditional grape varieties such as Macabeu and Parellada. But nowadays, red grape varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Tempranillo, Chardonnay, and some others are already highly cultivated and very much appreciated.
Our family company, which has been dedicated to viticulture generation after generation, was founded in 1984 wishing to produce wine from our own vineyards.
Our wines in bulk came to be so appreciated that in 1992 we began bottling and selling them under the brand VINYA ESCUDÉ.
Today we work twenty five hectares and because of the great demand for our products we buy grapes from other growers in the region. The cellar is regularly modernised and the cave is being extended at the moment in order to provide the best wines and cavas for our customers.
